If you’ve ever watched Grey’s Anatomy, you know how chaotic a doctor couple’s life can be. Due to the pandemic crisis, Gargi and Ankit, a doctor pair and Covid front line warriors, had to postpone their wedding. Life, on the other hand, never stops. They chose to continue fighting as life partners on Thanksgiving Day and they made the activities in Chesapeake, Virginia, very colorful.

The vibrant indoor south Indian wedding arrangement was magnificent, as you can see in the photos. As photographers, it is our job to capture remarkable moments on film for future generations to enjoy.

In most Asian cultures, the Mehendi is a highly traditional wedding event and Gargi gave it a stunning appearance. Henna Artists @hennabysshazia has demonstrated their incredible talent as true artists. We tried to focus on this event from numerous angles to capture the smile on Gargi’s face. It is not the camera, but rather the man behind the camera, the Photographer, who brought everything to life. Although applying the henna took hours, Gargi still had a lot of energy left and posed for some fantastic Mehendi shots.

Pithi is yet another event that is brimming with the enthusiasm of young friends and relatives. It also leaves a lasting impression on everyone. For this event, Gargi went for a more natural look, while Ankit complimented her with a mustard Panjabi. Despite the cold, the couple’s persistent smile added to the wholesomeness of the photos. We took some colorful photographs for Gargi and Ankit before the Garba festival began with dancing and performances.

Gargi wore a hot pink lehenga for her wedding and looked gorgeous. The team at @makeupandhaircompany did a great job dressing her up. The couple was very sporting about getting outdoor portraits done and we did not disappoint! We were able to capture some beautiful couple shots as well as bridesmaid and groomsmen group shots.

The wedding reception was full of laughter and great times. We had a lot of fun photographing this fun couple, as well as their friends and relatives. DJ @jpentertainment delivered an outstanding job, which is deserving of applause. Gargi and Ankit’s happiness radiated through the night as they danced her heart out.
