Shivani & Diganto
Indian wedding culture is rich in tradition and rituals. The wedding is more than just a union of two people from different families; it is a true union of two families.
“Have a big enough heart to love unconditionally, and a broad enough mind to embrace the differences that make us unique.”
Shivani and Diganto, two young lovely people, married in Atlanta Georgia following a unique blend of South Indian and Bengali rituals. Both cultures were represented, with Bengali sweets, South Indian cuisine, and big hearty smiles from both sides!
The Mehendi decor was vibrant, and the attention to detail was outstanding. The duo looked stunning in a gorgeous shade of gray with a hint of green. The catering team of @rickywalia01, @rickywalia01, and @hyderabadhouseatlanta created stunning desserts and meals for the celebration.
They were such a loving couple, Diganto even decided to engrave their initials on his hand, well, not with a tattoo but with henna instead! As traditional belief dictates, the darker the stain, the deeper their love, and the rich deep henna stain from @hennabyrozisalim proves it!
Even with her Haldi-smeared face, Shivani looked stunning. She wore beautiful floral jewelry from @stringedpetals. It was really cold that day but our pair seemed unfazed by the weather! Some of their Haldi photos are just stunning, and we couldn’t wait to share them with everyone.
We were surprised to see the pair arrive in a @bostonrickshawco rickshaw. It was a pretty entertaining entrance for both the couple and the guests. @sajdabysuman did an amazing job designing their costumes for the sangeet ceremony, which complimented the pair well.
If there was one thing I learned from Shivani & Diganto’s wedding day, it was how much they were loved. Family and friends came from all across the country to help these two celebrate their wedding and danced their hearts out to the beats of @elev8ev3nts, @djvrund, and @supremedholis.
Shivani’s makeup for the wedding was done by the talented @beautybyamipatel while @ablushingbride_ did the rest of the guest’s makeup and hair. They even had a live painter, @ronnipaintsweddings, at their wedding!
Their wedding reception outfit was designed by @seemagujraldesign. In their outfits, the newlyweds looked absolutely stunning. @bakersmaninc created the three-tiered wedding cake, and the detailed work reflects their expertise.
@sterlingdecoratl styled and designed the entire day, which was coordinated by the incredible team at @crimsonbleuevents. It was fantastic! Don’t miss out on the incredible colors and details throughout the entire event!! Finally, it’s worth noting that Indian wedding traditions are rich in traditional customs, and Shivani & Diganto have added a new dimension to this tradition with the blend of two cultures. Take a look back at the day through our eyes!
